About

Randy Mitchell has two distinct sides. One is an open-minded creative, the other is a buttoned-down professional. This is the story of how they came together.

The creative side

Randy’s mother was creative. It was not her profession, it was her passion. At first, she would invent stories to entertain and amuse her children. Then, one day, she sketched a quick portrait using Randy’s art pencils. It was her first true drawing, and it was exceptional. Helen Mitchell inspired her son to become a creative.

The professional side

Randy’s father was professional. Many nights, the growing boy drifted to sleep with the sound of his father’s adding machine closing the books. The man took every deadline and all of his responsibilities very seriously. Russell Mitchell inspired his son to become a professional.

Two sides, many hats

When you work at smaller agencies, you wear many hats. This fun video brings that truth to life. All of the quotes are from Randy’s creative team.
